Blank Slate Kate by Heather Wardell

Waking up with a strange man is scary. Realizing you lost fifteen years of your life overnight? That's terrifying. With her memories from seventeen to thirty-two gone, Kate has no idea who she is and where she belongs. As she begins to fall for the man who found her, she wonders if she forgot those years for a reason. Should she keep trying to retrieve her original self, or start a new life?

Author Bio:

Growing up, I was an avid (rabid?) reader. I am a natural speed reader, regularly clocked at about 1200 wpm (I read Harry Potter 5 in just under three hours).

After careers as a software developer and elementary school computer science teacher, in 2005 I took up the National Novel Writing Month challenge and attempted to write a novel in a month. I succeeded, and the first draft of my first novel "Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo" was the result. I realized I love writing. I left teaching, and I haven't looked back since!

  1. Another wonderful book by Heather Wardell. I couldn't put the book down and just when you thought the book was going in one direction several different times that is not the direction it went. Patiently (as best as possible) for Heather's next book.

  2. I'm always up for an Amazon gift card. :)

  3. I loved the book. Now I have to find my amazon recipe :) . Seriously it really was one of the many great books Heather Wardell has written. Maybe one of the best. I love her style of writing and can not wait for the " hippo" book to come out. Heather Wardell has become my favorite author over night and I have read every single book she has out there. Just sad she is Canada and not in the us. I would stand in A line at the book store for days if I had to to get a book signed or my kindle ( kindle for iPad)

  4. Wow, 7 stops on the tour? This looks like a great start. Have fun with it. And I agree with Anja M.. You should come to the US. Especially Texas! ;)
