Tripped Up Love by Julie Farley

Heather Meadows lost the only love she’s ever known. Her perfect, yet ordinary life was turned upside down the day her 38-year-old husband died. Her happily ever after was gone in the blink of an eye. Heather’s life becomes the subject of scrutiny and pity as she tries to pick up the pieces of her shattered world and raise her three children on her own. In the midst of suburbia and gossipy neighbors, Heather tries to re-build a normal life. Little does she know she’s about to trip into a new adventure. An adventure she could never have imagined. Where will her misstep take her and how will Heather handle the prying eyes of those around her?

  2. You know, Heather's plight is exactly what my worst fear is. I've been in love with the same man for 10 years. I can't imagine what I would do if I suddenly lost him...and at so young an age of 38! I can't wait to see what heather does to figure out life after her hubby

  7. I'm a private person. I can't imagine all of the nosy, overly "helpful" neighbors and the invasion of my privacy and quiet life. It sounds so painful to me.

  9. I have to say that I know exactly how Heather feels. My husband left me with two babies to raise and some of my decisions for the year after the divorce weren't smart. Luckily, my family supported me through everything. Excellent subject matter---it's going on my TBR list right now!

  10. Wow, I would love to know how this story plays out. Having a friend who is single with 4 kids, it should be an interesting read for me. I hope Heather finds a path that will lead to HEA but I guess we will have to wait and see. Thanks for sharing such an amazing read!

  13. when I first read your bio, I thought it said 4 "fairly" quiet children. Then I reread it and saw it said "rarely" quiet. lol. BIG DIFF.
